Nova Voice & Data Systems, Inc. receives National Sales Award from Toshiba Corporation of America Oceanside, CA: Nova Voice & Data Systems, Inc. was named the largest National Accounts Dealer in the Western Region for Toshiba Corporation of America. This was the third time in the last 5 years that Nova has received an award from Toshiba for National and Government Account Sales. Toshiba is the third largest manufacturer of telephone equipment in the United States.

Nova has installed over 5000 voice and data systems for large corporations with multiple locations in every state. Nova credits their success in National accounts to their unique software that supports the design, installation and management of phone systems for companies with multiple locations. Jim Gibson, owner of Nova Voice & Data Systems, Inc., received the award during the Toshiba National Dealers Meeting in Palm Springs, CA which was attended by over 400 Toshiba dealers.

LOCAL COMPANY WITH NATIONAL IMPACT

Nova Voice & Data Systems, Inc. an Irvine-based information technology management company, has now provided IT and telecom solutions in all 50 states.

In twelve years of operation, Nova has provided over 6,000 voice and data systems in every state of the Union - except Alaska. That changed last week as Nova achieved its 50-state milestone. In some years, Nova has installed more telecom systems in New York City than in all of southern California. “We would always tell new customers that we have supported customers in every state except Alaska. Now we can drop the ‘except Alaska’,” said Nova president and CEO Jim Gibson. “We are now truly a nationwide company.”

Nova was founded in 1992 by Jim Gibson, a former Marine communications officer. After working as a communication analyst for a large international corporation, Gibson saw the need for a provider that could design, install and manage telephone systems, PC support and voice and data cabling for companies with multiple locations across America. “IT managers have a hard time finding solutions providers who can design, install, and manage their IT assets anywhere in America. This is a problem for a California-based company who wants to open offices in other states.
