With telecom prices dropping on a daily basis, businesses need to be savvy and look at their expenses including the cost of local and long distance charges. NOVA, as your telephone equipment provider has experience in this area. We will audit your telephone bill, free of charge. NOVA has relationships with all the dial tone providers in the country including AT&T, C-Beyond, O-1, Telepacific, Verizon and Cox. It is not unusual for a company to save hundreds, and sometimes thousands of dollars per year with a telephone bill audit.

By auditing your phone bill, we can let you know if you are being charged for phone lines or features you are not using. One of our customers had a modem line that was never used – we discovered this on the audit we performed. This has happened on many audits we conducted and our customers saved money. We have also found custom features that had been ordered but never used such as call forwarding. Some of these features and capabilities are already built into the phone system and are therefore not needed from the carrier.

All we need is a copy of your monthly phone bill and we can let you know if we can save you on your monthly charges. Of course, we would never interfere with your relationship with your phone company or make changes to any of your phone lines without your full knowledge and written permission. 800 numbers

The cost of 800 numbers has dropped significantly over the last few years and yet companies that could greatly benefit from the use of 800 numbers are not doing so. Not only can 800 numbers encourage additional sales but they can also be used for other applications. One application would be using 800 numbers as a “back door” into your voice mail system for your traveling employees who could call in and quickly reach their coworkers and leave or answer voicemail messages. A unique application can be done where you assign an 800 number to your cell phone so your clients can call toll free but others can still call you locally.

ISDN/PRI/T-1

PRI stands for Primary Rate Interface. A PRI can give you 23 separate lines for your phone system on one circuit. It can also add many features such as DID and bandwidth allocation. Call our office for more details.

Help in ordering lines

Sometimes it is hard to know how many lines you may need in your telephone equipment. What type of lines, a T-1, a PRI or just plain telephone service? Ordering lines that you may not need is an expensive proposition that can take hours coordinating with the phone company. Of course phone companies are always eager to sell you as much or more than what you need. Special circuits such as ISDN, Primary Rate Interface and T-1’s demand technical assistance for signaling parameters. Hunt groups along with certain features on your phone system can help you support your customers. As your telephone equipment vendor, we have been handling system design for over 20 years. We know all the latest technologies that each dial tone provider offers. We can either assist you in ordering these lines or we can order the lines for you at the lowest possible cost to you from the phone company.

This service has several advantages to you.

1. It is free of charge.

2. We know the industry “language” and technical issues involved in ordering lines; therefore we are less likely to over or under order.

3. When NOVA orders lines for you, we can act as your liaison with the phone company and save you time and money. However, the phone companies will not allow NOVA to act in this way unless we order the lines for you.

Again as always, we would never order any lines without your written permission. Even if you do not use us in this capacity, we will be happy to assist you with your phone lines in any way we can.
